My name is Trish Baron and I was born on Long Island in New York. I attended the University of New York at Stony Brook. I have also lived in North Carolina, Nevada, and California.

I have always loved to draw and paint, and started doing collage 15 years ago, using recycled materials.

I consider myself an environmental folk artist. I have designed posters for concerts and environmental organizations, and designed the logo for solar power pioneer, Aztec Energy.

Over the years I have worked with children and young adults with special needs and am always thrilled to see how people intuitively use art to express their feelings, hopes, and dreams. I have always been especially inspired by Nature, and one of my dreams is that more and more people will begin to harness clean, renewable energy such as wind and solar so that we can protect the beautiful, magical ecosystems that surround us.
